29 | “Do what you want, as long as you clean up when you’re finished” How the messy bits move us forward with Katherine Quinn

Margo is joined by Katherine Quinn of New Zealand. For as long as she can remember she has loved drawing and making things and was lucky to grow up with parents who said she could do whatever she wanted as long as she cleaned up when I was finished. Through years of working a full time job outside of being an artist she always found time and energy to also focus on her art daily and put one foot in front of the other.

Margo and Katherine chat about:

  • Katherine’s drive to always keep going and progressing

  • How taking classes opened doors and allowed her to experiment with her art

  • Finding success and an agent

  • Her upcoming projects

  • Why you should always be experimenting as well as putting yourself out there

  • Connecting with other artists

  • And more

Katherine is represented by Jehane Ltd and lives in Pakipaki on a little hill in the New Zealand countryside.
