Margo chats with a dear friend, Contemporary Artist and Author, Lynn Whipple. Lynn is deeply grateful to live her life as an artist. Play and discovery are her dearest and most constant companions. There are a zillion tiny challenges in each art making experience and she often finds, just as many victories. Lynn and her husband John are a part of the founding family that established McRae Art Studios, a vibrant art collective in Central Florida, that is home to 23 artists.

Lynn’s mixed media work has been featured in over twenty art books and her work has won many awards over the years as she travels nationally showing her work in juried art shows, galleries and museums. She authored her first book, “Expressive Flower Painting for Bold Beautiful Blooms” with Quarry Books in 2017.
When not creating big, messy flower paintings Lynn is completely engaged in learning abstraction, by drawing and painting, with her dog Daisy, in The Art Fort, her small backyard studio. She also deeply enjoys encouraging creativity and play with her online art classes over at CarlaSonheim.com.
